AWAKE

Awake to righteousness and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame (1 Cor 15.34).

The first thing I ask a new aquaintance before conversing with them is, "Have you heard the good news ("Gospel" means "good news")?" Then I tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4).".

Preaching the gospel to another in person with our mouth allows them to believe on Christ and be born of God (1 Jn 5.1, Eph 6.19-20, 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15)." Then we are in fellowship (familyship) with them and can teach them to preach the gospel so that many more might believe on Christ and be born into the family of God (1 Jn 1.3 & Mt 28.20) (See FAMILYSHIP on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).

Awake to righteousness and sin not; for most people have not had the gospel preached to them in person with our mouths that they might believe on Christ and be saved. (Jn 6.47, Acts 16.31 & Eph 6.19) (See SAVED for a definition of 'saved' on www.preach-the-gospel.org.)

Read a one-page paper each day on www.Preach-the-Gospel.org for knowledge and understanding that will encourage you to preach the gospel and to teach others to preach it.
