"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them." (Mt 18.20)

I attended all types of churches (mostly evangelical) for thirty years and was never taught what the gospel is or how to preach it. Because of this I tell others, "Don't go to church. Be a church."

A congregation is not a church unless everyone in it is preaching the gospel outside of the building. Christ says, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." not hide in a church, being hearers only, deceiving our own selves (Jas 1.22-25).

It only takes two or three people preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach it to make up a church. It really only takes one person because Christ in us makes two. So as we go into the world preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach it we become the largest and most powerful church on earth.

When we preach the gospel to another it saves every one that believes on Christ (Jn 6.47 & Acts 16.31). Then we can teach them to preach the gospel and to teach others to preach it as well (See TEACH THEM on Don't tell them to go to church. Teach them to be a church. Why would I want them to go to so-called churches who are hearers only, deceiving their own selves (Jas 1.22)?

By preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it we turn the world right-side up, preparing it for Christ to return and take us to be with him forever (SeeIMAGINE on

Let's not go to church, let's be a church!
