"He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned (Mk 16.16)."

Christians tell me that we just have to live it, but how can we say we are living it if we aren't obeying Christ's command to preach the gospel? But how can we preach the gospel and how can we preach the gospel if we don't know what it is. The church isn't teaching us. We have been indoctrinated to believe that we must lead a person to Christ by a 'plan of salvation' (See PLAN OF SALVATION on

Christ did not say present a 'plan of salvation' or say a prayer to be saved. We don't have to lead another to Christ by having them invite Christ into our heart (See THE SINNER'S PRAYER on He simply commands us to preach the gospel. This allows others to believe on Himself and be saved (See SAVED on for a definition of 'saved'.) This is God's only plan of salvation! Because the 'plan of salvation' has replaced the gospel righteousness has been replaced by sin (Prov 14.34). No gospel - no salt and light.

We must tell others the good news in person with our mouth (Eph 6.19-20). Christ's testimony on our lips supernaturally saves every one that believes (Rom 1.16). Preaching the gospel is living it! The world sees right through our hypocrisy, but they can not refuse the power of the gospel when we preach it to them them in person with our mouths (Rom 1.16, Eph 6.19-20). They must reckon with the transforming power of the gospel (Rom 116) when we preach to them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." in person with our mouth (Eph 6.19) after first asking them if the have heard the good news (Gospel means good news) (See THE GOSPEL SAVES on

We can not stand on the sidelines deceiving ourselves any longer (James 1.22-25). Instead we must - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." as Christ commands us to do. This allows others to believe on Christ and be saved (Mk 16.15, Jn 6.47and 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15), then we can teach them that believe to preach the gospel as well (Mt 28.20), thereby multiplying the gospel seed (See DO THE MATH and A FEW GOOD MEN on

If we truly believe we will tell others the good news, otherwise we are most certainly not believers (1 Jn 4.1-3). We deceive ourselves (See 1 Jn 1-3). If we are ashamed of Him he will be ashamed of us (Mk 8.38). "... he that believes not shall be damned (Mk 16.15)." Don't chance it!
