BROTHERHOOD

"... and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea."

How beautiful are the words to "America The Beautiful." Some say that it should have been chosen as our national anthem instead of "The Star Spangled Banner." It's chorus line sings, "America, America God shed his grace on thee and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea."

We don't see "brotherhood from sea to shining sea" in our nation. Instead we see hatred, division and strife. Our nation will continue to lie in wickedness (1 Jn 5.19) unless the gospel is preached as it ought to be (See IMAGINE on www.preach-the-gospel.org.). When the good news - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." is told to others in person with our mouth it allows them to believe on Christ and be born again (Jn 3.3&7). A person is then born into the family of God and we enjoy fellowship with them and experience the brotherhood referred to in "America the Beautiful." (See IMAGINE and FAMILYSHIP on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).

By preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it we turn our nation right-side up, creating brotherhood (See IMAGINE on www.preach-the-gospel.org). To preach the gospel simply ask another if they have heard the good news and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." This allows the hearer to believe on Christ, be born of God (Rom 10.14 & 1 Jn 5.1). It's so easy to preach that even a child can do it.

God will crown our nations good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea if we obey Christ's commands to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe how to preach it (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20).
