"If any man is in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Cor 5.17)."

Christ says that a man must be born again (Jn 3.3) and according to the Apostle Paul this is what really matters (Gal 6.15-16). The question is: "How do we beget a new creature?" Modern Evangelical Christianity says we must lead another to Christ by presenting their 'plan of salvation.' The plan of salvation, however, is false doctrine (See PLAN OF SALVATION on, Nowhere in God's word does it say we are to lead another to Christ by presenting a 'plan of salvation'. We win a person to the Lord by preaching the gospel to them (Prov. 11.30, Mk 16.15).

We beget a new creature by telling another the good news (gospel) in person with our mouth, that - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4, 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15 & Col 4.3-4)." The instant they believe on Christ after we preach the gospel to them they are born of God (1 Jn 5.1) and God will continue to perform the work He has begun in them until the day of Christ (Phil 1.6), They are adopted by God (Jn 1.12b) and no man can pluck him or her out of His hand (Jn 10.28-29). The goodness of God then leads them to repentance by His loving chastisement (Heb 12.6 & Prov 3.12).

This afternoon Wipha and I told the good news to 15 people at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant, 15 at JC Penney's, five at the Petro Truck Stop and 17 at WalMart! It is difficult for Christians to accept that a person is saved through the simple gospel message for they have been indoctrinized (Ssome for 50 years like the woman I spoke with today at Cracker Barrel) by the evangelical church's 'plan of salvation'. I showed her that the Apostle Paul wrote, "I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you... I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1 Cor 15.3-4)." But she continued talking about the person she recently led to the Lord by the church's 'plan of salvation'.

I told her that Wipha and I preached the gospel to133 people yesterday and taught two to preach the gospel, asking her if she sees the difference. But she continued telling me that she has power from the holy Spirit to witness (Acts 1.8). I explained to her that most evangelical believer's lips are sealed when they leave the church building (See TIGHT-LIPPED CHRISTIANS on ) and that the power of God to save is the gospel on our lips (Rom 1.16 and Eph 6.19). That the gospel has been replaced by the 'plan of salvation' which can only be preached from behind the pulpit. She finally saw that what I said made sense, began to agree with me and went away with the good news card I gave her. I hope she channels her energy into preaching the gospel. She was one in ten thousand christians that opens her lips and preaches Christ.

Every one needs to be told the good news in person by mouth so they can believe on Christ and be saved (Mk 16.15, Jn 6.47 and Acts 16.31). Then we can teach them to preach the gospel as well (Mt 28.20). In so doing we turn the world right-side up (See TURN THE WORLD RIGHT SIDE UP on and speed Christ's return to take us to be with him forever (1 Jn 1.3, Mt 24.14 & 30-31 and 1 Thes 4.13-18). Let's do it!
