Dear James,

How are you doing?

Did you read our May 4th good news report? It was a good one. I'll tell you about something that happenned at a recent outing to Blizzard Beach, one of Disney's two water theme parks. We were floating around the Lazy River telling our captive audience and the life guards along the way the good news when we came upon a lifeguard and told him the good news. After we gave him a good news card I told him, "This is so you too can tell the good news." He replied, "Do I have to tell the good news?" I said yes and as we continued floating down the river I heard him ask a group of six floating in front of him, "Did you hear the good news?" He then told them the good news and I gave him an enthusiastic thumbs up. This really caught my attention because it is the first time I've actually heard another preach it after I taught them. Woohoo!

God is showing me lately that it is better to teach one or two that believe to tell the good news than it is to tell the good news to 1000 people. For when we take the time to teach another to preach the gospel after we have told them and they believe to the saving of their soul we multiply the gospel seed. The power of duplication can not be beat. This is why Christ commands us to "Teach them to observe the things I have commanded you (Mt 28.20). If we double one 33 times it equals 9.3 billion (ie 1,2,4,8,16,32, 64...). Preaching is supposed to be done in person with our mouth, not by TV, Radio, or internet. Two or three people preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it and to teach others to do the same is a church that is furthering the gospel more than so called mega-churches with all their people. They aren't preaching the gospel in the world as Christ commands us to do (Mk 16.15).

It only takes two or three people to make up a thriving church (Mt 18.20) whereas the churches (so called) that are only preaching their 'plan of salvation' to their congregation are at best social clubs. They are actually hindering the gospel because the 'plan of salvation' can only be preached from the pulpit (See PLAN OF SALVATION on Remember - TV, radio and internet don't count. We must preach the gospel in person with our mouth (Eph 6.19-20 & Col 4.3-4). If we are ashamed of the gospel then Christ will be ashamed of us (Mk 8.38 & Lk 9.26) and if we deny him he will deny us (Mt 10.33). But if we confess Him before men he will confess us before his Father in heaven (Mt 10.33. Confessing Christ before men with our mouth (Rom 10.9) is the difference between victory and defeat (See Rom 10.9 & Eph 6.15)). The reason christians are defeated is because a little leaven has leavened the whole lump (Gal 5.9). "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (Mt 16.6)." which is their doctrine (v 12). We have bought into the devils lie that a person is saved by saying a prayer (See THE BIG LIE and THE SINNER'S PRAYER on

I encourage you to preach the gospel that Paul the Apostle received and preached - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose again the third day (See 1 Cor 15.3-4)." by first asking another, "Did you hear the good news (Gospel means good news)?". This gospel was good enough for the Apostle Paul to receive and preach and therefore is good enough for you and I to receive and preach so that others receive and preach. It is still God's power to save every one that believes (Rom 1.16) when we tell it to them in person with our mouth (1 Cor 1.21, Eph 6.19-20 and Col 4.3-4).

Please read the May 4 good news report I sent you. It will encourage you to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe to preach it and to teach others. There are about 150 one-page papers on that will also encourage you to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe to do the same. Read one each day and pass the website and/or papers on to others to teach them to preach the gospel. We are going to turn the USA right side up in less than three years by telling the good and teaching them that believe to do the same (See CAPTAIN AMERICA on God bless.
