"Seek first the kingdom of God... (Mt 6.33a)."

I brought several people into the kingdom (family) of God today. Its amazing to see the change that occurs in a person after I preach the gospel to them and they believe on Christ. Instantly they are saved (See SAVED on for a definition of saved.).

Today we visited Cracker Barrel Restaurant as we have been doing almost every Sunday for more than two years now. But it has been a while and there were several new employees we told the good news. Each of them believed on Christ and were born again into his family. The beauty is that they come into fellowship with the others who are already part of the family and they all work together like one big family. I call this familyship (See FAMILYSHIP on

The wall comes down the instant they believe and they serve out of love instead of just for the money. The bad part is that they are serving people who are dead in their trespasses and sin (Eph 2.1), people who also need to have the gospel preached to them so they too can beieve on Christ and be converted. It seems I am the only one preaching the gospel, even though I teach others how to preach it and encourage them to do so, they just don't do it.

If believers would preach the gospel and teach others to preach it soon we would have family everywhere we go. Instead of the sin that separates people we would have fellowship with each other. The barriers would come down. We would have a community of believers and on a larger scale a nation of believers. We would truly be "one nation under God." Wouldn't it be great (See IMAGINE on!

It was great to see our family as we went out to eat and shop today, and even greater that many were added to the family of God the instant the they believed on Christ after we told them the good news (gospel). They are no longer nameless faces, but are dear to us and we to them (Jn 6.47, Acts 16.31 & Rom 10.14 & 1 Cor 1.21).

To preach the gospel to another ask them if they have heard the good news and tell them, "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." This gospel, when we tell it to another in person with our mouth (Eph 6.19), saves every one that believes (Rom 1.16). It brings those who are dead in their trespasses and sin into the family of God (See ZOMBIES on

It's amazing to see the change occur in people the instant they believe on Christ after we preach the gospel to them. I just wish they would also tell the good news. Then we would be one big happy family (See TURN THE WORLD RIGHT SIDE UP on
