If people feared God and kept his commands the world would be a better place. We should be sensitive to doing even the least wrong (For instance, throwing a piece of paper on the ground or breaking the speed limit.).
Has Christ not commanded us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature"(Mk 16.15).By observing this commandment we also are obeying the two great commandments: 1) Love God, and 2) Love our neighbor as ourself. Is there any excuse for not preaching the gospel once we know what the gospel is and how to preach it? Preaching the gospel to another gives them the opportunity to believe on Christ and be born of God, giving them a righteous consciousness through the holy Spirit within them.
We love God and our neighbor by keeping his commandment to preaching the gospel. Christ says, "If you love me keep my command"(Jn 14.21).Do we want others to be saved (See SAVED for a definition of 'saved' on www.preach-the-gospel.org.)? They become saved by believing on Christ(Jn 6.47&Acts 16.31)but how can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard and how can they hear without a preacher?(Rom 10.14) "It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe(1 Cor 1.21). The Apostle Paul wrote, "I have begotten you through the gospel"(1 Cor 4.15).
Christ has ordained us to bring forth fruit by preaching the gospel(Jn 15.16&Mk 16.15).To preach the gospel to another simple ask them if they have heard the good news and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day" (1 Cor 15.1-4). This is the same gospel the Apostle Paul himself received and preached(v 3-4).
Now that we know how to preach the gospel let's obey Christ's command to, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature"Mk 16.15). Let's "Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man"(Eccl 12.13).
