“That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us:

and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 Jn 1.3 & 4.14).”

One of the great blessings of Christianity is 'fellowship'. I call it familyship. Preaching the gospel to another gives them the opportunity to believe on Christ and be brought into the family of God to enjoy fellowship with God the Father and with ourselves (Jn 3.36 & 6.47, Acts 16.31, Mk 16.15, Rom 1.16 & 10.14 and Cor 1.21).

The Apostle Paul wrote, “Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness: and what communion has light with darkness? And what concord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he that believes with an infidel? (2 Cor 6.14-15).” And the Apostle John, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness (1Jn 5.19).”

Our job is to bring the world out of wickedness by preaching the gospel that they might believe on Christ, be born of God (saved)and brought into His family (Mk 16.15, Jn 6.47, 1 Cor 4.15, Acts 16.31 and 1 Jn 1.3 & 5.1). Imagine how wonderful it would be if communities had fellowship and loved one another (See IMAGINE on! It can happen only to the extent that we preach the gospel and teach them that believe to preach (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20).

To enjoy the blessing of familyship with another simply ask them if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.) and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (See 1Cor 15.1-4).” This gospel that the Apostle Paul received and preached (v 3-4) saves every one that believes when we tell it to them in person with our mouths (Rom 1.16 and 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15 and Eph 6.19-20 & Col 4.3-4) (Please see SAVED on for a definition of 'saved'.).

The instant another believes on Christ, after we tell them the good news they are brought into fellowship with us, with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 Jn 1.3). Then we can teach them to preach the gospel (and teach them that believe to preach it), creating familyship.
