We are fools for Christ's sake...(1 Cor 4.10a)

The gospel is so simple to preach that a child can do it, but it is not easy. To preach the gospel we must become a fool for Christ.

Its as simple as 1,2,3 to preach the gospel. After asking another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.) tell them 1) Christ died for our sins, 2) He was buried, and 3) He rose again the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." The problem is that this must be uttered to another in person with our mouth (That's called preaching.) and most of us are not comfortable in doing this. It makes us feel foolish. Nevertheless, this is what Christ commands us to do and therefore we must get out of our comfort zone.

Christ says - "If you love me, keep my commandments (Jn 15.15)." It can be said that we obey the greatest command when we preach the gospel for we are loving God. If we love him with all our heart and all our soul and all our strength we will certainly not be ashamed of the gospel and will be willing to make a fool of ourselves for Christ. The great thing is that when we tell another the good news in person with our mouth it will does not return void (Eph 6.19 & IS 55.11). It saves every one that believes (Rom 1.16).

Let's be about our Fathers business of preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach it for there are seven billion people who we must preach it to before Christ returns and takes us to be with him forever (Mt 24.14 & 30-31 and 1 Thes 4.13-18). This is why Christ also commands us to make disciples, teaching them to observe the things I have commanded you (Mt 28.19-20). By preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe on Christ to preach it we turn the world right-side up, creating fellowship in the human race (See FAMILYSHIP on

Let's not be ashamed to put the gospel on our lips for it is God's power to save every one that believes (Rom 1.16). Let's be fools for Christ.
