GOOD TREES

"Every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit (Mt 7.17)."

The problem in the USA is that there are not enough good trees. This is because the gospel is not being preached as it ought to be.

The gospel seed must be planted to grow good trees that bring forth good fruit(Gal 5.22-23).This is not happening because Christians have replaced the gospel with the church's 'plan of salvation' that can only be preached from the pulpit. Ninety percent of the people in the world will never enter the church doors therefore we have a big problem (See THE BIG LIE on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).

Christ did not say for us to present a 'plan of salvation' whereby a person is supposedly saved by a prayer (See PRAYER OF SALVATION and THE SINNER'S PRAYER on www.preach-the-gospel.org). He commands us to - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved..."(Mk 16.15-16). "I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ"(2 Cor 11.3). "Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have receved, let him be accursed"(Gal 1.8-9). wrote the Apostle Paul.

Paul made the gospel he received and preached(1 Cor 15.3-4)perfectly clear in his first letter to the Corinthian believers - "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; Be which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached to you unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"(1 Cor 15.1-4).When combined with what I call the 'catch phrase', "Did you hear the good news (Gospel means good news.), we can preach this gospel the Apostle Paul received and preached in simplicity - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day"(1 Cor 15.3-4).

By preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it we bring forth good trees and turn our nation right-side up.
