THY KINGDOM COME

Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Mt 6.10).

"Where there is no vision, the people perish... (Pr 29.18)." The problem with today's so-called church is that they have lost their vision.

Christ commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." for a purpose. When we tell another the good news or preach the gospel to them they have the opportunity to believe on Christ and be saved or born of God (Jn 6.47 & 1 Jn 5.1) and become part of the kingdom or family of God. Then we can teach them to preach the gospel as well, thus multiplying the gospel seed and kingdom (family) of God. But where are the labourers? There are seven billion people on earth who must have the gospel preached to them in person with our mouths (Eph 6.19 & Col 4.3-4) before Christ will return and take us to be with him forever (Mt 24.14 & 30-31, 1 Cor 15. 51--53 & 1 Thes 4.13-18).

Christians have only a vague idea of their mission and how to accomplish it. The so-called church has added to the gospel that a person must admit that they are a sinner and say a prayer of salvation to be saved, making it too difficult to preach outside of the pulpit (See PLAN OF SALVATION and THE SINNER'S PRAYER on www.preach-the-gospel.org.). This little leaven has leavened the whole lump (Mt 16.6 & 12 and Gal 5.9). Because of it the gospel is not being preached as it ought to be and wickedness continues to prevail (1 Jn 5.19). We must get back to preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it God's kingdom is to come and His will is to be done here in earth as it is in heaven (Mt 6.33 & Lk 12.31). The vision is simple, yet profound. Preach the gospel to every person in the world in person with our mouths (Mt 24.14, Mk 16.15, 1 Cor 1.21 & Eph 6.19-20). We must teach them that believe to preach the gospel as well to accomplish this (Mt 28.20).

The Apostle Paul clearly defines the gospel in his first letter to the Corinthian believers. "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; by which also you are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached to you... I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1 Cor 15.1-4)..." By first asking another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.) and telling them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose again the third day." we preach the same gospel the Apostle Paul himself received and preached (V 3-4). In so doing we allow another to believe on Christ, be born of God and enter His kingdom (family). Thus we turn the world right-side up and speeding the return of Christ (Mt 24.14 & 30-31 and 1 Thes 4.13-18). This is the blessed hope (Titus 2.13) (See IMAGINE on www.preach-the-gospel.org). Where there is no vision the people perish... (Pr 29.18). Let's go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15) as Christ commands, while also teaching them that believe to observe His command (Mt 28.20). Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Amen
