"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching (the gospel) to save them that believe." (1 Cor 1.21 & Mk 16.15)

I read a bible tract the other day that tried to appeal to people on the basis of logic. I realized then that it is not a matter of logic. It's a matter of preaching the gospel to another in person with our mouth and them believing on Christ (Mk 16.15 & 16, Eph 6.19 & 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15).

The instant a person believes on Christ after we preach the gospel to them something supernatural occurs. They become born of God (1 Jn 5.1). This is what really matters, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision (religion), but a new creature . And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God (Gal 6.15 -16)." A man (or woman) must be born again to see or enter the kingdom of God (Jn 3.3 & 7).

So we should focus our time and energy on preaching the gospel instead of high sounding arguments to convince another that they are a sinner and they need to pray ask God to forgive them and for Christ to come into their heart (See THE GOSPEL SAVES & PLAN OF SALVATION on The gospel according to the scriptures is easily preached by first asking another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.), then telling them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." This allows them to believe on Christ and be saved (Jn 6.47 & Acts 16.31). Then we can teach them to preach the gospel as well, thus multiplying the gospel seed. Please see SAVED on for a definition of 'saved' .

Let's stick to Christ's commands to - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." and teach them that believe to preach the gospel (Mt 28.20). For by preaching the gospel we turn our nation and world right-side up (See TURN THE WORLD RIGHT-SIDE UP on and speed the return of Christ to take us to be with him forever (Mt 24.14 & 30-31 and 1 Thes 4.13-18).

It goes beyond logic and intellect. The gospel is the supernatural power of God to save every one that believes on Christ when we preach it to another in person with our mouth (Jn 6.47, Acts 16.31, Rom 1.16 & Eph 6.19-20).
