When we ask another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.) and tell them (preach) - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day" (1 Cor 15.3-4) something supernatural occurs in them that believe: Their sins become forgiven (1 Jn 2.12), they become filled with the Holy Spirit whose fruit is - "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance" (Eph 1.13, 2 Cor 1.22 & Gal 5.22-23)," they become born again into the family of God (Jn 3.3 & 2 Cor 5.17) and they receive God's gift of eternal life (Jn 3.15, 6.47 & Rom 6.23). Preaching the gospel makes others rich.
"I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one who believes (Rom 1.16)." As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace (Rom 10.14-15)." By preaching the gospel we make them that believe rich!
