THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST

"That I make it (the mystery of Christ) manifest, as I ought to speak (Col 4.3-4)."

The instant a person believes on Christ after we tell them the good news that - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." they become born of God (1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15 and 1 Jn 5.1). This is the mystery of Christ (Col 4.3-4)..

We should walk in wisdom towards them that are without Christ, redeeming the time because the days are evil (Col 4.5 & Eph 5.16). In other words we should take every opportunity we get to tell the good news (gospel) to others so they can believe on Christ and be born of God (1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15b and 1 Jn 5.1). We know that the whole world lies in wickedness (1 Jn 5.19), but we turn it right-side up and speed the return of Christ by preaching the gospel to those whose paths we cross. Wouldn't it be great if everbody loved God and loved their neighbor as themselves. This is what happens when we make preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe how to preach it (2 Cor 5.15) (See IMAGINE on www.preach-the-gospel.org.)!

Preaching the gospel is not as difficult as the church has made it to be. It doesn't take a degree in theology, just a willingness to tell others the good news (See paragraph one.). This gospel that the Apostle Paul received and preached saves every one that believes (Mk 16.15, Rom 1.16 and 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15b) when we tell it to them in person with our mouth (Eph 6.19-2 & Col 4.3-4). To open the door to preach the gospel to another simply ask them, "Did you hear the good news?" (Gospel means good news.)

MOst christians have never preached the gospel to another because the church has replaced it with a 'plan of salvation' that can only be preached from the pulpit (See PLAN OF SALVATION on www.preach-the-gospel.org). This limits us to passing out bible tracts or inviting others to church. This fills the pews just about enough for the pastor to make a living but it doesn't save the world (See CHURCH OR SOCIAL CLUB? on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).

We should be preaching the gospel as we go and teaching those we tell to preach it (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20) so that every one can be born of God (1 Cor 1.21 & 1 Jn 5.1). In so doing we turn the world right-side up and speed the return of Christ. Let's make the mystery of Christ manifest as we ought to speak (Col 4.3-4)!
