There is no legitimate reason for not preaching the gospel when a person knows what the gospel is and how to preach it, for Christ commands us to - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)."

The gospel is simply - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (Read 1 Cor 15.1-4.)." It is nothing more or nothing less. The Apostle Paul himself received and preached this gospel (v.3) and so can we by first asking another if they have heard the good news or exclaiming "good news" (Gospel means good news.). When we preach it to another in person with our mouth (1 Cor 1.21 & Eph 6.19) it gives them the opportunity to believe on Christ and be born of God, for the gospel is the power of God to save every one that believes (Rom 1.16). We must preach the gospel to every creature (6.5 billion people) on the face of the earth before the end will come and then Christ will return and take us to be with Him forever (Mk 16.15, Mt 24.14 & 30-31 & 1 Thes 4.13-18).

According to the Apostle John, anybody who does not confess that Christ is come in the flesh (preach the gospel) is not of God, and this is the spirit of antichrist that is in the world (1 Jn 4.3 & 2 Jn 7 & 10.). The same thing can be said of churches that aren't preaching the gospel outside their church doors. They are social clubs parading themselves as churches and aren't worthy ot God's tithe; For the purpose of the tithe is the furtherance of the gospel (See THE TITHE on Preaching the gospel and teaching others to preach the gospel are not suggestions, they are commandments of Christ (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20) and if we are disobey his commandments and are ashamed of the gospel we are not worthy of Christ and in danger of hell (Mk 16.16, Lk 6.46-49, Mt 25.14-30). Their will be no excuses in the day of judgment.

Our mission is to preach the gospel to every person in the world (See TWO OR THREE on In so doing we turn the world right-side up and usher Christ's return. But man has devised a 'plan of salvation' that is hindering the gospel from being preached (See PLAN OF SALVATION and THE SINNER'S PRAYER on One of the scriptures used to support the 'plan of salvation' is Rom 10.9. "If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God has raised him from the dead, we shall be saved." The word confess (homologeo in the Greek) means to profess. Jesus used the same word when he said, "If we confess Him before men He will confess us before His Father in heaven, but if we deny Him before men by not professing or preaching the gospel will deny us before His Father in heaven. Do we risk our salvation by not confessing Him (Mk 8.38 & 16.16, Lk 9.26)?

The gospel must be told with our mouths (Rom 10.9, Col 4.4 & Eph 6.19). Some say, "We will just let our lights shine." But how can we let our lights shine by disobeying Christ's command to preach the gospel. Preaching means to tell another in person with our mouth. Six and one half billion people (every person in the world) must have the gospel preached to them before Christ returns (Mk 16.15, Mt 24.14 & 30-31, 1 Cor 15.51-53 and 1 Thes 4.13-18). He is waiting for the precious fruit of the earth ( Jas 5.7).

Daily as we go we must ask others if they have heard the good news or exclaim "good news" and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day.", teaching them that believe to preach the gospel as well. There will be no excuses for not preaching the gospel when we stand in front of Him at judgment day (Mt 12.36-37 & 25.30 and Mk 16.15).
