The gospel is easily preached by asking another "Did you hear the good news? and telling them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." We can then make disciples of them that believe by teaching them to preach the gospel and to teach others to preach it (See TWO OR THREE on www.preach-the-gospel.org). This gospel that the Apostle Paul himself received and preached (1 Cor 15.3-4) saves every one that believes when we preach it to them in person with our mouth (Rom 1.16 & 10.14, 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15 and Eph 6.19-20). We teach them to preach the gospel by having them ask us, "Did you hear the good news?" then helping them with the answer. We give them a good news card to remember what the good news is and how to preach it (It helps to read them 1 Cor 15.1-4 to show them that it really is the gospel.
After we tell somebody the good news and teach them how to preach it, it's a matter of obedience on their part. Some tell me that they can't preach the gospel because they are not called or gifted to preach it. But its not a matter of calling or gifting. Every believer should tell the good news to others, thus allowing the hearers to believe on Christ and be saved (See 47 PASSAGES ON BELIEF that show a person is saved through believing and SAVED for a definition of 'saved' on www.preach-the-gospel.org). Will we make excuses for not preaching the gospel or will we obey Christ's command to preach it and teach others to preach it (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20)?
It may be difficult to believe that the gospel supernaturally saves another when we preach it to them in person with our mouth (1 Cor 1.21 & Rom 1.16) because we have been indoctrinated to believe in the church's 'plan of salvation' but you too can preach the gospel and teach others to preach it. In so doing we turn the world right-side up and speed Christ's return to take us to be with him forever (See TURN THE WORLD RIGHT SIDE UP on www.preach-the-gospel.org).
Daily ask others, "Did you hear the good news?" and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." allowing them to believe on Christ and be saved (1 Jn 6.47, Acts 16.31, 1 Cor 1.21 & 4.15). Then teach them that believe to do the same (Mt 28.20). It's that simple. (See SAVED on www.preach-the-gospel.org for a definition of 'saved').
The one-page papers on www.preach-the-gospel.org make great daily devotions. Please recommend the website to others and pass on it's papers.
