God's plan of salvation is simple - "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved (Acts 16.31)." (For a definition of 'saved' see SAVED on www.preach-the-gospel.org). But the so-called church (See CHURCH OR SOCIAL CLUB? on www.preach-the-gospel.org) has replaced the gospel with their 'plan of salvation'. This is hindering the true gospel from being preached.
The gospel, according to the scriptures, is - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor. 15.3-4)." This is the gospel the Apostle Paul received and preached (1 Cor 15.3-4) and it still saves every one that believes when we preach it to them in person with our mouth (See Jn. 6.47 & 3.36, Rom. 1.16, 1 Cor. 1.21 & 4.15 and Eph. 6.19-20) (Also see 47 PASSAGES ON BELIEF that show a person is saved by believing in and on Christ and BELIEVE on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).
According to the evangelical's 'plan of salvation' we must have another admit to God that they are a sinner, and ask Christ to come into their heart (See THE SINNER'S PRAYER and PRAYER OF SALVATION for further explanation on www.preach-the-gospel.org.). This 'plan of salvation' can only be preached from a pulpit, which takes four years of seminary. Even then it is preached to the same crowd every Sunday (with maybe two or three visitors). Christ's command is - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." not present a 'plan of salvation' inside a building.
To preach the gospel simply ask others, "Did you hear the good news?" and tell them - "Christ died for our sins and he rose again (1 Cor. 15.3-4 abbrev.)." Then teach them to do the same (Mt 28.20). This is God's plan of salvation.
