Many have built great careers on Christianity. The path is cut for the professional clergyman (or woman). Go to bible college or seminary, do your time as an associate pastor and wham! your in the pulpit. Today's Christianity has it that to enter the pulpit or do missionary work or any other type of professional clergy job you must have training and a resume. The system is in place and sealed tight against intruders (those without professional training).
In addition the evangelical church preaches a false gospel that guarantees their job security and keeps the money rolling in from the faithful. Nobody can preach their 'plan of salvation' without a pulpit for it takes at least 15 minutes to 'lead another to Christ'. This prevents lay people from presenting the 'plan of salvation' outside the church doors, so the faithful bring a steady flow of visitors to church guaranteeing the pastors salary. But Christ commands us to preach the gospel in the world, not in the pulpit. What?
In the name of job security the professionals, including churches, bible colleges and seminaries are hiding the gospel from the body of Christ, substituting their 'plan of salvation' instead (See PLAN OF SALVATION and THE SINNER'S PRAYER on www.preach-the-gospel.org). Again, Christ's command is - "Preach the gospel (Mk 16.15)." not present the 'plan of salvation! The gospel according to the scriptures is simple and easy to preach - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.1-4)." This is the same gospel the Apostle Paul himself received and preached (1 Cor 15.3-4) and when preached to others it saves every one that believes (Rom 1.16). Preach it by first asking another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news) or saying, "good news."
Now you know what the gospel is and how to preach it. We don't need a pulpit. Our church is the world (Mk 16.15)! Yesterday my wife and I preached the gospel to 150 people as we went, teaching some that believed to preach it as well. Christ's first disciples did the same without seminary or bible college. God's will is that the gospel be uttered with our mouths in person to every person in the world (1 Cor 1.21, Mk 16.15 & Eph 6.19). In the process we turn our world right-side up (See Is 58.12). After it has been preached to every person the end will come and Christ will return and take us to be with him forever (Mt 24.14 & 30-31, & 1 Thes 4.13-18).
Daily as we go we must ask others if they have heard the good news or say, "good news" and tell them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day." Then teach them that believe to preach the gospel as well (Mt 28.20). Don't let the professional clergy deceive you with their 'plan of salvation.' Every believer can and should preach the gospel (Mk 16.15).
