"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled: and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus (Acts 4.13)."

There is a mistaken belief in today's world that to preach the gospel one must attend seminary or bible college. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The gospel is so simple that a child can preach it, yet we have complicated it with a plan of salvation that takes four years of college to preach. Get this. The gospel is simply, "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." When we tell this to another in person with our mouth we have preached the gospel to them, allowing them to believe on Christ and be saved. To preach it we must first ask another if they have heard the good news (gospel). I call this the catch phrase.

As a result of the 'plan of salvation' being taught in seminaries the gospel is not being preached as it ought to be and the world is dead in their trespasses and sins (Eph 2.1). Every believer should have the gospel message on their lips as they go into the world (Mk 16.15, Rom 1.16, Eph 6.19-20 & Col 4.3-4). It's the only way we can bring the world out of the wickedness in which it lies (1 Jn 1.3 & 5.19). By telling another the good news and them believing we have a revival of one person, but by teaching that one to preach the gospel we multiply the gospel seed and they become part of a crusade that will revive our nation and world (Mk 16.15, Mt 28.20 and Acts 1.8).

The 'plan of salvation' can only be preached from a pulpit, but Christ commands us to - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." To have a pulpit to preach from we must attend Seminary. This is where the problem lies. We are supposed to go into the world and preach the gospel, not bring them into church to hear the 'plan of salvation'. The majority of the seven billion people on earth will never set their foot inside a church building. The pastor of a church is merely preaching it to the choir. Church is supposed to encourage and equip believers to preach the gospel in the world.

A little leaven has leavened the whole lump (Mt 16.6 & 12 and Gal 5.9) therefore we must throw it out and start a new lump. We have to start preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe how to preach it and teach them that believe to preach it (See TEACH THEM on Only this will quicken a world that is dead in its trespasses and sins (Eph 2.1).

It's not necessary to attend seminary to preach the gospel and teach them that believe to preach it. Just start asking others if they have heard the good news as you go and telling them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.14)." and teaching them that believe to preach it (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.20). It's our choice.
