CHURCH OR SOCIAL CLUB?

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)."

The reason for the existence of the church is to preach the gospel to every person in the entire world so that all might believe on Christ and be saved (Mk 16.15, Jn 6.47 & Acts 16.31).

The gospel - “Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4).” is easily preached after asking another, "Have you heard the good news (Gospel means good news.)?" This is the same gospel that the Apostle Paul received and preached (See 1 Cor 15.3-4) and it is "the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes (Rom 1.16)."

Everybody in the church needs to be preaching the gospel (telling the good news). If a so-called church is not preaching the gospel in the world as it ought to it is at best a social club, for "How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher (Rom 10.14)?" "...it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe (1 Cor 1.21b)."

The church exists to preach the gospel to every person in the world. If it is not doing this as it ought to be (by all its members) it is at best a social club.
