When Christ commanded us to teach them to observe all things he has commanded us he was not talking about teaching them how to obey his commands but teaching them simply to obey them. This is very important because the harvest truly is great (Lk 10.2).
For instance, he commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15). This is a simple command to observe. Once a person knows what the gospel is it's just a mattter of persuading them to preach it. This is the hard part. We can explain to them that it is part of the full armor of God (Eph 6.15). Who would go into combat barefooted? We suffer defeat. We could explain that if we are ashamed of Christ that he will be ashamed of us (Mk 8.38), but that when we confess Christ before men he confesses us before his Father in heaven and when we deny him that he denies us (Mt 10.32). These along with our own example should convince another to preach the gospel (1 Pet 5.3).
But we must first preach the gospel to another before we can teach them to preach it, for the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God (1 Cor 2.14). When a person believes on Christ after we tell them the good news (in person with our mouth, Eph 6.19-20 & Col 4.3-4) they are born of God (1 Cor 4.15 & 1 Jn 5.1), then we can teach them to preach the gospel and to teach those who believe to preach it. We can explain to them that after it has been preached to every person in every nation the end will come and Christ will return and take us to be with him forever (Mk 161.5 , Mt 24.14 & 30-31 and 1 Thes 4.13-18) and that in the meanwhile we turn our nation and world right-side up (SeeIMAGINE on www.preach-the-gospel.org.).
The gospel must take center stage because it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes (Rom 1.16). It is how we beget new creatures (1 Cor 4.15 & Gal 6.15-16). The gospel that the Apostle Paul himself received and preached is - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." When we place it on our lips in person to another it saves them, just as it did when Paul preached it. It's easy to preach by first asking another if they have heard the good news (Gospel means good news.).
Remember, we are to teach them to observe Christ's commands. So let's - "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Mk 16.15)." Teaching them that believe to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe to preach it as well (Mt 28.20).
