WHY ARE WE LIVING?

"He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live to themselves, but to him which died for them, and rose again (2 Cor 5.15)."

When we find ourselves lost we should ask ourselves, "Why am I living?". The next question we should ask ourself is, "How am I living?"

The answer to the first question is I am living for Christ. How do we live for Christ? By seeking first the kingdom of God (Mt 6.33). How do we seek the kingdom of God. By preaching the gospel and teaching them that believe to preach it (Mk 16.15 & Mt 28.30). How do we preach the gospel? By asking another if they have heard the good news (the catch phrase, Mt 4.19) and telling them - "Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose the third day (1 Cor 15.3-4)." Then teach them that believe to preach the gospel.

To teach them that believe to preach the gospel simply have them ask you if you have heard the good news and reply with, "No, did I hit the lottery, or did I get a pay raise?" Then coach them through the three parts to the gospel, 1) Christ died for our sins 2) he was buried, and 3) He rose again the third day. Be sure to encourage them to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe to preach it. In so doing we multiply the gospel seed (See DO THE MATH on www.preach-the-gospel.org).

When we ask ourselves, "Why are we living?" The answer should clearly be - "To preach the gospel and teach them that believe to preach it."

Please read a one-page paper daily on www.preach-the-gospel.org for encouragement to preach the gospel and to teach them that believe to preach it.
